Students in many grades competed in the St. Ambrose Science Fair.
We interviewed Mrs. Hamsik about this year’s science fair. Here is what she had to say before the school’s competition during Catholic Schools Week.
Q: What is your class doing for the science fair?
A: Here are some examples. One student is purifying muddy water. Another is cooking different types of meat from different stores and is testing how much fat they have in them.
Q: If you were in the science fair, what would you do?
A: Something with magnets.
Q: What was your favorite science project?
A: The dissection of sharks.
Q: What advice do you have for your class?
A: Do your best and don’t let anyone tell you wrong.
There were many winners of the school science fair, including Brian Spahnie, Jordyn Verbiak, Jordyn Nuti, Hollyn Saxon, Samantha Edgerton, Grant Crabbs, Izaak Whisler, Kristian Abood and Matt Minnich. These students qualified to compete in the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair, which takes place March 12th and 13th at Cleveland State University. We want to wish all of them lots of luck!
