The Unicorn Story

December18

Princess the Unicorn

There once was a unicorn named Princess who loved rainbows. A unicorn is a creature resembling a horse, with a single horn in the middle of its forehead. The unicorn had no family or friends anymore because they all lost their horns and died. Their horns held their power, but they weren’t that strong. Ever since that happened, Princess has always stood under the rainbow to remember her old friends and family. One day Princess was under the rainbow and she felt a strong gust of wind. She galloped away so scared she fell.

That night Princess had the most horrifying dream ever, about losing her power. Princess tried to go back to sleep, but she couldn’t. The next morning Princess didn’t want to get out of bed. Finally, Princess got up and made herself breakfast. After that, she went outside and saw some girls playing Horn Tag. Princess asked the girls if she could play with them. The girls said “Yes.” Princess was playing with the girls the rest of the morning. When it was noon, Princess was on her way home. She thought to herself… “What if I die?”

That night Princess heard someone creeping around her hut. Princess got out of her bed and saw a leprechaun. The leprechaun was drinking some milk out of a jug. When the leprechaun went to put the milk away, Princess saw a metal bar in his pocket. Princess didn’t know what he was going to do next. By the time Princess could go any further, the leprechaun was standing right in front of her. He quietly grabbed his metal bar and tried to whack her on the head. Princess’ guardian came down from Heaven and saved her. The leprechaun ran away and was never seen again. Princess finally woke up that morning and saw that she was alive. She was so happy she ran around her hut with joy.
